People with rheumatoid arthritis are at greater risk of developing carpal tunnel syndrome and wrist pain. Seek medical attention to get rheumatoid arthritis under control. When you reduce the inflammation, you ease carpal tunnel syndrome pain.
Carpal tunnel exercises
There are certain carpal tunnel exercises that may help you during the discomfort. These exercises give workout to the wrists, to keep them limber. You can do push-ups on the knuckles, triceps extensions and bicep curls but with complete control of the wrist area.
Alternative therapies
Practicing yoga, especially the yoga asanas that require you to stretch and strengthen the joints in the upper body, can ease wrist pain. Acupuncture, chiropractic care, magnets and botox treatments are among other alternative practices that have been found to help with wrist pain.
Rest
